Mission

To protect, restore and promote a healthy Blue River watershed through cooperative community education, stewardship and resource management.

Vision & Values

  1. Foster an action-oriented, fully-informed and inspired community, willing and able to carry out our mission.
  2. Complete results-based projects that measurably improve the health of the Blue River watershed ecosystem.
  3. Promote a strong network of organizations working for a more sustainable Blue River.
  4. Inform the community on important issues while taking no official position on ballot issues or candidates.

Goals

  1. Develop and implement watershed plans.
  2. Participate, support and sponsor various events and educational opportunities throughout the community.
  3. Strengthen relationships with local governments and pertinent organizations in the watershed.
  4. Increase membership and educational opportunities in the community by sponsoring an ongoing speaker series.
  5. Continue to support an executive director and fund projects specific to the mission.
