Board Members
The BRWG has a Board of Directors that meets monthly, as well as an Advisory Board that meets annually.
Shanna Koenig Camuso – Vice Chair
Consultant, ZM Consulting, Inc. 
Shanna is the founder of the Blue River Watershed Group and co-director for the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments Water Quality and Quantity Committee. She continues to be the driving force to make the Blue River Watershed Group a sustainable group and an educational resource on all watershed issues in the community.
Peggy Bailey
Senior Hydraulic Engineer, Tetra Tech, Inc.
Peggy is a Water Resources Engineer. She has a diverse range of experience specializing in water resources and aquatic restoration including the award-winning Blue River Restoration in downtown Breckenridge and numerous aquatic habitat enhancement projects for endangered fish species on the Colorado and Green Rivers. She is also involved with erosion control on construction and mine restoration sites. She has lived and worked in Summit County since 1982.
Jim Shaw – Treasurer
President of ZeoponiX, Inc.
Jim has his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado, and a Master of Science in Management from M.I.T. Currently Jim is a Summit County, Snake River Task Force volunteer and major contributor to the feasibility study of the Pennsylvania Mine and the Snake River Watershed Plan.
Zach Margolis
Utility Manager, Town of Silverthorne.
Zach’s
specialty is Water and Wastewater Treatment. He continues to contribute as a board member to many water-related groups, such as the Summit Water Quality committee as a member representative and past chair and the NWCOG Water Quality Quantity Committee as a member representative. He has taught water and waste-water treatment at the Colorado Mountain College, Leadville Campus.Zach’s current position is overseeing the Utilities Department for the Town of Silverthorne. He and his coworkers have received national recognition from the USEPA for Operations and Maintenance excellence and for the collaborative mined land restoration project at the Climax Mine. In his words, “Water is my life.”
Joanna Hopkins – Board Chair
Finance Director, Maryland Creek Ranch.
Joanna works for the owners of a 1,054-acre ranch in the Lower Blue River Valley. Along with her responsibilities as Finance Director for the development of part of the ranch, she works with the ownership on maintenance of their extensive water portfolio. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Bruce Hodson
Director of Slopes and Maintenance, Copper Mountain Resort.
Bruce has been involved in grooming and snowmaking operations as Manager for the last 9 years, and in mountain and base operations since 1975. He sits on the Board of the Clinton Ditch Reservoir Company representing Copper Mountain. He currently resides in Dillon and has lived in Summit County since 1963.
Toni Kiehm – Secretary
Environmental Lead, Keystone Resort
Toni is the environmental lead at Keystone Resort. She holds a Masters of Science in Environmental Policy and Management from University College – University of Denver.
Advisory Board Members
The Blue River Watershed Group has an advisory board of eight water professionals. Brian Lorch, Lane Wyatt, Scott Hummer, Elvin Arrance, Bill Cameron, Jim Pokrandt, Bob Berwyn, Karn Stiegelmeier.
